WHAT YOUR PERFORMER CAN EXPECT
All students will be checked into the venue upon arrival and escorted by staff to their assigned dressing room area. Please note that parents are not allowed backstage unless they are designated volunteers.
Here’s what you and your dancer should expect:
Upon arrival, students will be checked in at the Double Glass Gallery Doors and tickets will be scanned at the ticket table outside the auditorium.
After check-in, students will be taken backstage to be organized by class before the show begins.
For students with only 1 dance: No personal belongings or dance bags should be brought backstage. Parents should hold onto these items.
All students should arrive prepared with:
Hair and makeup fully done.
Tights and undergarments on.
Their first dance costume already on.
A show order will be provided so that students with multiple dances know which costume to wear first.
Backstage Amenities:
There will be a group dressing room with changing pods, as well as two private dressing areas for added privacy.
We recommend dancers wear nude leotards under their costumes or bring a large men’s T-shirt for quick changes.
There are water fountains, but not bottle fillers
There are group and private bathroom spaces
Backstage is accessed either via the Double Doors at the Left Hand Hallway or the Gallery doors to the right of the lobby.
